1) Contact your partner, set a date for the exchange of the posts. I suggest by 6/29. You should be able to preschedule them for early June 1 (by 10am EST PLEASE).
- A title (not blog exchange - but title your post), a short bio, and a link back to your own blog. If your partner doesn't do this, it's a courtesy to add a little blurb. Most people are very friendly -- encourage folks to visit your partner's blog -- plus, your post is there! If you need a sample, click on some of the best of posts for an idea.
- Please make sure to link to TBE homepage! (www.theblogexchange.net)
Since TBE is growing rapidly, I will be instituting a more strict posting/emailing policy for the next round.
If you have a legitimate complaint about your partner (i.e. they had your post on time but it didn't go up by 10am EST, there were formatting issues that were never fixed even when you emailed, or you never heard from them ever ever ever), please email me. After one warning, I'll have to ask folks to not participate.
This is just so the experience can be pleasant for everyone and folks get a fair shot at having their post read and enjoyed!
There are certainly times when computers don't work, blogger is being a butthead, and we didn't get our posts to our partners until way past the deadline. But, if there are legitimate issues, please make sure to let me know via email.
If, for some reason, you cannot get a hold of me or your partner, just put your own post up on your blog.
