We're Talking About a Revolution: March Giveaway
So, my one pledge to myself was that if I was going to give that huge space in my left side bar to someone, it needed to be a cool small business that you'd actually find me at.
Well, you know, if they had an actual store front. Otherwise, I'd just be sitting in their family room and that's pretty weird.
But, with Tiny Revolutionary, it might actually be possible, since I recently discovered she lives about 30 minutes away (hello, Atlanta traffic) from me.
We've featured her creative shirts over at Cool Mom Picks (ps. why aren't you reading Cool Mom Picks?), and she's a popular of many, not just because the shirts are super cool, but the messages are ones that deserve being shouted from the rooftops.
Or, at least worn on a really awesome shirt.
So, she's kindly giving away a shirt to a lucky reader. Or to two readers. Maybe even to three. We'll keep that a mystery. But all you need to do to enter is hop over to her site, peruse her offerings, and tell me which one is your favorite.
Now look. I know you can just go over there, look at the first shirt on the page, and then be done with it. But BreeAnne would really like to know which one tickles your fancy. Sort of like a mini-focus group, if you will. And if you love them, tell your friends, or hell, buy one. She's offering 15% off with code REALMOM.
The contest is open through March 31 and you may only enter once! You need to make sure to leave which shirt is your favorite in order to be entered!
And congrats to Monica B. from Mommy Moments, our February Julian & Co winner!
(Psssssst. If you have a small business and you want to get the word out, email me!)

I just love the one that is "I will change the world someday". It is so true. We all make small changes in our house but the ones that will make the biggest difference will be our kids because they watch us make a difference.

I like these:
I'm not sleeping, I'm meditating
I'll change the world someday
Posted by: Catizhere | March 14, 2008 at 11:56 AM
I'd have to say the "War is Poop" is my fav. Being that my guys are also obsessed with the word "poop" right now I think I'd give them a big 'ole thrill if I ordered a couple...or won!
Um, can she make a Boogers on Bush one too?
Posted by: Going Crunchy | March 05, 2008 at 10:36 PM
I would pick "I'll change the world someday" or All babies are created equal. They are so cute!
Posted by: Belinda | March 05, 2008 at 09:40 PM
I'm torn between:
"War is Poop" and
"Rainbow Snuggle"
myself.
I think it's awesome she's doing the 2 mommies/2 daddies thang, too.
Posted by: Must be Motherhood | March 05, 2008 at 02:59 PM
"I'll change the world someday." Followed by "All babies are created equal." And not just because they're the first two. I promise.
Posted by: Emily | March 04, 2008 at 04:05 PM
Cute shirts! I love the "My Mommy Doesn't Dig the Gold, She Makes the Gold" but I think my favorite is the "I'll Change the World Someday."
Posted by: A | March 04, 2008 at 01:38 PM
I have to say the "I'll change the world someday." I'd love to win either a tee for my daughter or the onesie version for my son! i love the rainbow ones, too, and I'm sure my daughter would love the Polar Rescue.
Posted by: Sara | March 04, 2008 at 01:29 PM
My fave was the "I'll change the world someday"-

My fave was the "I'll change the world someday"-
Posted by: Tina Sollazzo | March 04, 2008 at 01:09 AM
I like the "drive a hybrid" one because I am a total Prius-lover. My kids ALWAYS want to go in Daddy's Prius instead of my van. If I could find a hybrid SUV/van that actually made sense, I'd be the first to sign up. I'll be giving it up after "carpools" are over for my own Prius...
I love the look of the "more milk, less war" one - but as my kids are no longer breastfeeding, it wouldn't work for them right now. BUT, I think it would be a great baby shower gift!
Posted by: Kari | March 03, 2008 at 09:49 PM
It's a toss up between the drive a hybrid shirt and the bombs are bad shirt. But thinking about the bombs are bad for babies thing really upsets me, so maybe the hybrid, since I drive one and the topic doesn't give me an anxiety attack.
Posted by: emily | March 03, 2008 at 09:27 PM
I gotta say - the first shirt on the page does it for me - "I'll change the world someday".
Posted by: Ragtop Day | March 03, 2008 at 05:56 PM
I'm a big fan of the "My Mommy Doesn't Dig the Gold She Makes the Gold!" shirt and I love the "Chosen" one, especially as a gift for a new adoptee.
Posted by: Audrey | March 03, 2008 at 03:41 PM
Although it is indeed the first one on the page I actually like the I'll change the world someday tee.
Posted by: ImpostorMom | March 03, 2008 at 01:56 PM
Very cute shirts- I'll change the world someday is a winner in my book- somebody has too :)
Posted by: Tracy | March 03, 2008 at 01:55 PM
My favorite is I'll change the world someday. All of them are really great, though!
Posted by: courtney | March 03, 2008 at 01:28 PM
While the "My Mommy Doesn't Dig the Gold, She Makes the Gold!" is pretty good, if I had to choose one it'd be "War is Poop" - and not just because that's my boys' favorite word these days.
Posted by: Nicole | March 03, 2008 at 01:22 PM
I like "I will change the world someday" and "I'm not sleeping I'm meditating". They are all really cute.
Posted by: Taryn | March 03, 2008 at 12:47 PM
A tie between "More Milk, Less War" and the Polar Bear Rescue.
Posted by: bombaygirl | March 03, 2008 at 12:42 PM
I like the "I will change the world someday"
The "Bombs are bad for babies" is awesome.
Posted by: Darlene | March 03, 2008 at 11:17 AM
I have to go with the "chosen" since my son is adopted.
Posted by: Luann | March 03, 2008 at 10:49 AM
My favorite shirt...well it's a tie between "all babies are created equal" and "save some green for me"
Very cool site...thanks for passing it on to your readers.
Posted by: Tiffany | March 03, 2008 at 10:22 AM
oops, why did i think it was an adult tee? I mean, my daughter could wear it, but yeah, people might get confused.
Posted by: Jo | March 03, 2008 at 09:50 AM
Double the Mommies Double the Love is so beautiful! That's my favorite design. The retro figures and the cool curlies, it's just really visually appealing. I am not gay, but I would totally wear the shirt anyway. The gay mommies in my neighborhood would love it.
Posted by: Jo | March 03, 2008 at 09:35 AM
I think my FAVORITE is the All Babies Are Created Equal, but I also loved the selection of 2 mommies shirts.
Posted by: Liza | March 03, 2008 at 09:28 AM
They're all pretty cool! But, for my favs it's a 3 way tie... "I'll Change the World Someday", "War is Poop" and "Bombs Are Bad for Babies..".
I just wish they came in larger sizes, my boys are too big for them!
Posted by: Lisa | March 03, 2008 at 07:58 AM
The "I'll change the world some day" shirt is my favourite. Though ... for a sleep deprived mother of a sleep challenged toddler, "I'm not sleeping, I'm meditating" made me laugh!
Posted by: Melanie | March 03, 2008 at 12:52 AM
Ok, my favorite is "Double the Mommies, Double the Love" - but that would be confusing when my husband and I take her out in it. Awesome shirt that doesn't apply to my living situation.
"I'll Change the World Someday" is my next favorite because I know it to be true.
Posted by: B | March 02, 2008 at 11:40 PM
I like the babies for Hillary. Or the War is Poop.
Posted by: Casie | March 02, 2008 at 10:43 PM
I like the "I'll change the world someday" shirt. A perfect reminder of the future bound up in that tiny body-- to all who see.
Posted by: Stacey | March 02, 2008 at 10:29 PM
I love the Soldier of Love tee. Because I am a hippie.
Posted by: Bethiclaus | March 02, 2008 at 09:52 PM
Not sure they're that revolutionary... I didn't see a "Babies for Obama" shirt, only a Billary vote. :(
Posted by: Vanessa | March 02, 2008 at 08:53 PM
Well, I'm not very original because I like the onesie http://tinyrevolutionary.com/i-ll-change-the-world-someday.html
and the War is Poop shirt
http://tinyrevolutionary.com/war-is-poop.html
Cute stuff!
Posted by: Heather | March 02, 2008 at 08:13 PM
I know it's the first one on the page, but I do love the "I'll Change the World Someday" shirt. I'm also thinking about getting the "Double the Mommies, Double the Love" shirt for one of my sister's kids.
Posted by: Stimey | March 02, 2008 at 07:33 PM
I love "All Babies Are Created Equal". That's my favorite.
Posted by: The Other Dana | March 02, 2008 at 07:14 PM
Very hard to choose between them - they're very cleverly written and I also love the illustrations.
I think 'drive a hybrid' is a good one. The words "Save some green for me" are excellent and would look good teamed with a Recycle symbol.
Posted by: Trish | March 02, 2008 at 07:09 PM
My son (2 yrs old) was recently taught how to make the peace sign and loves doing it, so I like the soldier of love message as it builds on his own message to the world!
Posted by: Nicole | March 02, 2008 at 06:46 PM
I absolutely adore the Polar Rescue shirt, although I'm also fond of the "Someday I'll change the world" shirt, too.
Posted by: Christina | March 02, 2008 at 06:45 PM
I heart "My Mom Doesn't Dig The Gold, She Makes The Gold!"
Classic!!!!
*My friend just adopted and I may just have to purchase the "Chosen" shirt for her little one!
Posted by: FENICLE | March 02, 2008 at 06:27 PM
At first I thought for sure the "My Mommy Doesn't Dig the Gold, She Makes the Gold!" but I can't help myself. I think if I was going to pick one it would be the "I'll change the world someday" shirt. It just brings tears to my eyes. Our kids are our future, and sometimes it feels like the people in power forget that.
Posted by: Angela | March 02, 2008 at 06:19 PM
Cool shirts!
I especially like All Babies are Created Equal, because it's cute.
And War is Poop, because, well, war is poop.
Posted by: ewe_are_here | March 02, 2008 at 06:09 PM
I love the "I'll change the world someday" onesie.
Posted by: Pamela | March 02, 2008 at 05:39 PM
My favorite is "war is poop!"
Posted by: Shannon H | March 02, 2008 at 05:35 PM
I couldn't decided, so I have two favorites. "I'll change the world someday" and "All babies are created equal." Also, I want to echo the sentiment that I wish they were available in mommy sizes!
Posted by: Amanda | March 02, 2008 at 04:19 PM
Save some green for me.... drive a HYBRID... is my favorite!
Posted by: Jenn M | March 02, 2008 at 04:17 PM
I like the Polar Rescue and All Babies are created equal.
And I'm going to echo the "Why dont they come in Mommy sizes?" comment!
Posted by: Rebecca | March 02, 2008 at 02:26 PM
War is Poop is my fav (I wish they had it in Mommy sizes!)
Posted by: Jenni | March 02, 2008 at 01:57 PM
My fave is "I'll change the world someday". I love the environmental-friendliness of those shirts!
Posted by: Carolyn | March 02, 2008 at 01:42 PM
Are we only allowed to pick one? If I have to pick one it would be "I'll Change the World Some Day" but following closely behind would be "All Babies are Created Equal", "Chosen" and "Bombs are Bad for Babies".
Posted by: Shannon | March 02, 2008 at 12:54 PM
Love the "I'll Change the World Someday" shirt.
All of them are cute though!
Posted by: LB | March 02, 2008 at 12:24 PM
My favorite is the Polar Rescue.
I like the art on the Solider of Love, but I think the camo is too busy. It would be my favorite, if it was on a solid color shirt.
And I like the "More Milk" shirt, but I don't buy products with bottles on them. Maybe if it looked like a sippy cup instead.
Posted by: K | March 02, 2008 at 12:19 PM
All of her shirts are just awesome.
I especially loved the "Double the Mommies, Double the Love" and the "Two Daddies, One Love" T-shirts. Although those don't fit our lifestyle, they certainly fit our family's philosophy.
"Chosen" is such a great message.
"I survived the Bris" is just too funny!
"I'm not Sleeping, I'm Meditating" - well considering my children NEVER SLEEP, this doesn't really apply but it made me chuckle anyway.
But unfortunately, even though I love all of them, I can only choose one, so I'm going to have to ultimately choose....
"More Milk, Less War". Says it all in a nutshell.
Posted by: Jenine | March 02, 2008 at 11:56 AM
Love the "I'll Change the World Someday," because you know they will.
Posted by: Glennia | March 02, 2008 at 11:56 AM
I love the "I'm not sleeping, I'm meditating" one.
Posted by: JenniferB | March 02, 2008 at 11:39 AM

I really do love the "I'll Change the World Someday" t-shirt. That's just beautiful.
Posted by: caramama | March 02, 2008 at 11:25 AM
Totally love the "rainbow snuggle." What a great line of clothes! Creative, unique with a clean modern design!
Posted by: katy | March 02, 2008 at 11:15 AM
I didn't breastfeed b/c of my own health problems but both of my nursery babies right now are boob babies and I like the shirt "My Mommies milk is kosher"......so much...I'm buying one of the moms this shirt for their babe.
Posted by: Jerri Ann | March 02, 2008 at 11:14 AM
Mom's Milk is Kosher
Posted by: melissa | March 02, 2008 at 11:10 AM
All Babies Are Created Equal
Love that shirt!
Posted by: Ashley | March 02, 2008 at 10:59 AM
It's hard to choose, and my initial leaning is "My Mommy Doesn't Dig the Gold, She Makes the Gold!", but that's what Bill said and I should branch out a bit and be different.
With that said, I pick "All Babies are Created Equal".
Thanks for bringing this website to our attention. I'm always looking for socially concious childrens' clothing for my daughter and other peoples' kids!
Posted by: MsPrufrock | March 02, 2008 at 10:43 AM
It would have to be ""I'll Change The World Someday" - because I have to believe my girls will.
Posted by: Jill H. | March 02, 2008 at 10:41 AM
"I'll change the world someday" is a great affirmation for the little one! If I had to choose a fav that would be it.
Posted by: kateecee | March 02, 2008 at 10:24 AM
Well considering my stay at home situation, I LOVE the "My Mommy Doesn't Dig the Gold, She Makes the Gold!" shirt!
Although the veal one is a close second...
