How Good (or Bad) of a Mama Have You Been This Year?
C'mon, people! We can't sit around and wax religious all week long. What's mother's day without a glass dildo and a vibrator that plugs into your iPod, I say?

Oh, and if you want to bid on Poppy Montgomery's High Chair, check out their eBay auction. (heh).
Settle an Argument for me and the huz. Are these shoes girly or European? Added: Click this link for a pic of them on my son!
ADDED: The MOMocrats asked and Obama actually answered! Check it out.

Don't know enough about european shoes but they're definitely NOT girly. I'd put them on my son :-)

Those are so so so cute and not girly at all!
Posted by: RubiaLala | May 02, 2008 at 02:41 PM
I think those shoes are adorable on Drew.
Posted by: ImpostorMom | May 01, 2008 at 07:48 PM
PS I like the shoes. Especially in brown. But then I'm gay.

Those sheets are hilarious.
Also an excellent way to be happy that your six year old isn't reading yet.

I just wanted to be tacky and say that I'm hoping, just for my own entertainment, that the result of the J&J gift survey is just all vibrators, all the time. That would be hilarious.

Those are very European. I wouldn't put them on a boy over the age of 2, though.
Posted by: Heather | April 30, 2008 at 07:46 PM
European. But then I put leather t-strap shoes and knee socks on my boy anytime we're dressing him up for something. So perhaps my perspective is a bit skewed.
Posted by: K | April 30, 2008 at 07:31 PM
I would say European...
And now all you need to do is get him some Prada sunglasses and maybe a MacLaren racing shirt and he is ready for Monacco!

I was going to say nautical. I think they are cute!
And my family is from Italy and the men there wear sandals that in America might be considered girly.
So I guess my answer is European.

European. I wouldn't feel bad for putting them on a boy, they look like boyish t straps. Oddly enough, in the south, t- straps (kinda like Mary Janes but with a... t strap) are for boys. Usually with John-john's. Neither of which I really like, but... whatever, right?
Long winded to say, I likes them.

European, totally boy appropriate. Love the Mother's Day ideas - I'm sending them on to dear hubby.
Posted by: Nic | April 30, 2008 at 03:22 PM
I'd put the brown ones on my boy, but the brighter colors are definitely a little on the girly side.
Posted by: Baby In Broad | April 30, 2008 at 02:26 PM
I think they look adorable in that outfit he had on. But in general, they look a bit girly.
Posted by: Phoenix | April 30, 2008 at 01:26 PM
I posted over at Reviews and News, but I'll post here, too, that I think they're girly, but in blue they're not the girliest thing I've seen on a boy.
I wouldn't put them on my son, but if my wife did, people might just assume we're European, like so many people in our neighborhood.

Girly or European... wait, there's a difference?
Posted by: prescott | April 30, 2008 at 12:38 PM
I looked at the site for the shoes first. Girly. Saw them w/Drew's Gymboree outfit - we own the adorable sweater vest - and LOVED the shoes with that particular outfit. Too cute.
Posted by: juliamarlene | April 30, 2008 at 12:11 PM
depending on the color, those shoes are european or girly.
Posted by: Angie in Texas | April 30, 2008 at 12:01 PM
Geez. Those are adorable on him. I'm going with European!
(I love how you transition from Religious discussions to Mominatrix fun so seamlessly. It's why I keep coming back!!)

Siding with the huz after checking out both photos. Sorry.
Posted by: Kate | April 30, 2008 at 11:46 AM
European. Definitely not girly. That said, I do love Vincent shoes for my daughter - not that particular style of course, because they're not girly! She's had several pairs and they are extremely sturdy and durable. Love them.

I have to go with girly...they look an awful lot like Mary Janes.
Posted by: Lora | April 30, 2008 at 10:46 AM
Girly.
Posted by: M&Co. | April 30, 2008 at 10:42 AM
Girly... they look like Mary Janes.

I think those shoes are terribly cute. I would call those shoes very fashion forward. Not girly at all, although I would slap 'em on my girl in an instant.
Posted by: jen | April 30, 2008 at 10:31 AM
I think they could be for boys or girls. Not too girly at all!
Posted by: JKK | April 30, 2008 at 10:28 AM
The t-strap makes them girly to me. I wouldn't put them on my son. :(
Posted by: alison | April 30, 2008 at 10:23 AM
I'm going with girly on the shoes. Maybe they are different when with an outfit.
Posted by: Dirkey | April 30, 2008 at 09:55 AM
Yeah, that *should* say glass.
Need more sleep.
Posted by: Veronica | April 30, 2008 at 09:54 AM
I'd say European. If my DS was still small I'd buy a coulpe pair for him !
Posted by: Lisa | April 30, 2008 at 09:53 AM
You are in my head, I totally blogged about gladd dildos and ipod vibes a few weeks back.
True.
Posted by: Veronica | April 30, 2008 at 09:52 AM
Sorry, (assuming your opinion is the opposite), but I'm going to have to go with girly.
Posted by: Susan | April 30, 2008 at 09:43 AM
OMG, a vibrator that plugs into your ipod? Seriously? I've seen the glass dildos. One with a description that it's art you can display in your home. Yeah right. Like I'd want the parents (either side) to see that on our bookshelf when they come to visit.
The shoes are definitely girly. I've got 2 boys and wouldn't put those on either of them over the age of 6 mos.
